Scouting in Bmck

Bishop McAllister Anglican Seminary scouts, the Eagles Patrol, completed a hat trick of scouting triumphs with the 2013 Sheema District scouting championship. This means the only time they have not won the top prize was when they made their maiden appearance in what was then a Bushenyi District competition before the district was split to give birth to our current Sheema District. The latest scouting championship is testimony to the young Eagles’ tenacity and desire to keep aloft in every challenge.
The scoutmaster, Mr Nicodemus Rwankwizire, says the boys give him no trouble at all and that they are always willing to listen and learn.
“They make a hard job appear simple. I wish all students world over were like these boys,”
the scout master said.
Nasinguza Derrick, one of the boys in the Eagles Patrol, said this year offered them an even sweeter victory. “We felt good to know we were taking it for the third consecutive time. It was even sweeter to learn that our senior scouts, Rockies Patrol, had won. One school, two trophies! We won everything there was to compete for. That is what makes it a unique scouting season,”
Derrick said.
The other schools competing in the junior level were Rweigaga, Rwemihingo, and Nganwa Junior School.
The mighty Eagles Patrol scouts are:
Nasasira Joshua
Nuwasimirwe Seth
Akandwanaho Derrick
Tumwergye Osborn
Najuna Gilbert
Kamugisha Godfrey
Nasinguza Derrick
Ahereza Herbert
